This two-hour screencast was recorded as VidSync creator Jason Neuswanger taught colleagues in Gary Grossman’s lab at the University of Georgia how to use VidSync. It covers everything from loading videos, through all stages of calibration, to a variety of real measurements and exporting data. Although it is not a smoothly scripted screencast, it is as close as you can come to sitting in on an in-person VidSync lesson.
The recording shows a slightly older version of VidSync, so some labels and layouts differ from the current application. The current version supports dark mode on macOS, but the portrait feature described in the video is unavailable because of architectural changes introduced with Apple’s newer processors.
